My Cosplanner respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same (see our Acceptable Use Policy). If you believe content stored or shared on My Cosplanner (the "Service") infringes a copyright you own or control, you can ask us to remove it using the process below.
This page also explains how to respond if your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake.
1. Reporting infringing content
To report content you believe infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated contact (see below) that includes all of the following:
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
A description of the material you claim is infringing and enough information to let us locate it — for example the URL of the cosplan or a link to the specific file or block.
Your name, address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.
2. How we respond
When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the reported content, typically within a reasonable time, and we will make a good-faith effort to notify the user who uploaded it. Because our data model keeps a soft-delete tombstone, removed content stops being accessible while a record of the removal is retained.
Filing a false or bad-faith notice may make you liable for damages. If you are unsure whether the material infringes your rights, you may wish to seek legal advice before sending a notice.
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice. It should identify the removed content and its former location, include your name, address, telephone number, and email, and include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
We may restore the content if the process allows and the original complainant does not pursue the matter further.
4. Repeat infringers
We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
5. Designated contact
Send takedown notices and counter-notices to our designated contact at the address below. Please include "DMCA" or "Takedown" in the subject line so we can route it quickly.
